Chapter Contact

The Winnipeg chapter is a dynamic group of people passionate about the welding industry. Our members come from around southern Manitoba to participate in our events throughout the year. Our members are from a variety of industries including Manufacturing, engineering, inspection, heavy steel fabrication and erection. We have participants from the local union associations, trade schools and welding product sales.

The听CWB Association Winnipeg chapter formed from the previous Welding Institute of Canada Chapter and the Canadian Welding Society chapter in 2003 when WPMAC (Welding Products Manufacturers Association of Canada) and Canadian Welding Society amalgamated to form the current CWB Association. The founding executive members included: Arthur J Pankratz P.Eng, Bill Holowick, Rob Ritchot, Doug Whaley, & others.
