Abstract:  Canadian manufacturers have an opportunity to significantly increase their revenue by pursuing business internationally. With a total population of over 36 million, Canada is naturally a small percentage of the global marketplace.  The USA market is often a good and close stepping stone, but when entering markets outside North America, there are many business strategies and factors to consider for fabricated products and equipment. Considering the current 2018 trade disputes with Canada and USA, it is crucially important to pursue additional markets to ensure market diversification.
