Presented At:
CanWeld Conference 2019

Resistance spot welding is among the most used joining techniques in aerospace and automotive industries. Nowadays this process has been fully automated in order to increase the production speed and repeatability. However, resistance spot welding still faces several other issues. One of these issues is the integrity of performed welds. Indeed, due to miscellaneous hazards, welding conditions are never the same and resulting welds are sometimes of poor quality.
