Empowering Tomorrow's Skilled Trades Professionals: ÒõAPPµ¼º½ and CWB Foundation Renew Commitment to Skills Canada Competitions

April 10, 2024

The and ÒõAPPµ¼º½ are thrilled to announce our continued partnership with Skills Canada and its provincial organizations throughout 2024. Our collaboration symbolizes more than an alliance; it represents a shared commitment to fostering excellence in skilled trades and technology across North America.

As we embrace the spirit of competition and innovation this year, we are especially proud to extend our support to the bright and aspiring welding competitors.

The CWB Foundation is financially matching the support of Skills Canada to the World Skills welding competitor, Ben Rainforth, who will be competing in Lyon, France in September. CWB Association members have rallied to also support Rainforth with fundraising for much needed non-consumables.Ìý

Recognizing the challenges and dedication required to excel in welding, the CWB Foundation will also be awarding PPE kits to the Bronze, Silver and Gold recipients of both the secondary and post-secondary welding competitions at the National Competition in Quebec. This contribution underscores our belief in equipping individuals with the tools they need to succeed and investing in the future of North America's welding and materials joining industry.

We are supporting the following competitions in 2024 and warmly encourage you to stop by to show your support!Ìý
